Countdown App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their Information, data and content is being used inside our Countdown App (“App”, “our App”, “the App”). Please read our Privacy Policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Information in accordance with our app. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you install the Application or make payments, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.
Data You Create
Countdown lets you create events, dates, tags, notes, and reminders. This data is stored on your device.
If you enable iCloud sync, your app data may be synced through Apple iCloud using your Apple account. We do not operate our own account system and we do not have access to your private iCloud data.
Widgets may read the event data needed to display countdowns on your device.
Calendar, Reminders, Notifications
With your permission, Countdown can access Apple Calendar and Reminders so you can view calendar items or export Countdown events to Calendar.
Countdown may also ask permission to send local notifications for event reminders.
You can change Calendar, Reminders, and Notifications permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
App Purchases
Countdown offers in-app purchases and subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, validate purchase status, and unlock premium features. RevenueCat may process purchase-related data needed for these purposes.

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data only with service providers needed to operate App features, including Apple, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, and optional feedback form providers.
Support and Feedback
If you contact us by email or submit a feedback or bug report form, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any details included in the request.
We use this information only to respond to you, fix issues, and improve the App.
Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored in Countdown remains on your device unless you delete it or delete the App. If iCloud sync is enabled, retention may also depend on your Apple iCloud settings.
We do not operate user accounts or store your Countdown events, notes, tags, or reminders on our own servers, so we cannot directly delete that app data for you.
If you contacted us by email or submitted a feedback or bug report form, you may contact info@adelmaer.com to request deletion of information you sent directly to us.
Purchase, advertising, consent, and other data processed by Apple, RevenueCat, Google, or other third-party services is controlled by those services and subject to their privacy policies and deletion tools.
Advertising
Countdown may show ads to free users. Premium users may receive an ad-free experience.
We use Google AdMob to serve ads and Google User Messaging Platform to manage privacy and consent choices where required. These services may collect data such as device identifiers, ad interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, diagnostics, and app interaction data for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation.

Changes
